What Champion Killfeed collects, why we need it, who helps us process it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Who is responsible

Champion Killfeed runs the Champion Discord bot and championshp.vip and is responsible for the personal data described here. Champion Killfeed is not affiliated with Bohemia Interactive. If you have a question about this policy, use the contact page.

What we collect

  • Your Discord sign-in. When you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar, and the list of Discord servers you are in, so you can pick which server to set up. We also ask Discord for permission to read your membership in servers that use Champion (such as your roles there), so staff access can follow Discord roles. We do not receive your Discord email address or password, and Champion never posts as you.
  • Server settings. For servers that use Champion: the Discord server (guild) and channel IDs you choose, role mappings, and the bot and feature settings you configure in the Server Hub.
  • Nitrado credentials. Server owners give Champion a Nitrado API token so it can read their server's logs. The token is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored, is only decrypted to call Nitrado on your behalf, and is never shown back in the website.
  • DayZ gameplay data from server logs. From the logs of connected servers we process gamertags and in-game player identifiers, kills, deaths, hits, weapons and distances, player positions, connections and disconnections, and the stats, ranks, points and leaderboards we build from them.
  • Linked gamertags. If you link your gamertag to your Discord account in the Player Hub, we store that link so your stats, rank and points follow you.
  • Billing records. Payments go through Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription references, your plan, its status and billing dates. We never see or store card numbers.

How we use it

  • to sign you in and decide which servers and hubs you can manage;
  • to run the bot: post the killfeed and other events to the Discord channels a server owner chose, and keep leaderboards, factions, economy and shop up to date;
  • to show public pages such as the live killfeed, leaderboards and player pages;
  • to bill subscriptions, and to give support, keep the service secure and fix problems.

Gameplay data is shared in the Discord channels a server owner chooses and may appear publicly on this website (for example a gamertag and kill count on a leaderboard). We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember choices you make, such as whether you are a server owner or a player and which of your servers or communities you were last looking at. Your browser's local storage keeps display preferences, such as which updates you have already seen. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Who processes data for us

We use these services to run Champion. Each only gets what it needs for its part:

ServiceWhat for
DiscordSign-in (OAuth), the Champion bot, and posting killfeed and other messages to your Discord channels.
NitradoReading DayZ server logs and server details through the API access a server owner connects.
StripeCheckout, subscriptions, invoices and the billing portal. Stripe handles all card details.
VercelHosting this website.
RailwayHosting the Champion bot, its API and its database.

These providers may process data in other countries, including the United States, under their own privacy and security commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep account, server and gameplay data while you or your server use Champion, so stats and leaderboards stay complete. When a subscription ends, settings and data are kept so the service can resume if you come back, unless you or we delete them. Billing records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax.

Our database is backed up automatically: daily backups are kept for 6 days and weekly backups for 1 month, so no backup is older than 30 days. Data you delete is removed from the live service straight away and disappears from our backups within 30 days, as the older backups expire.

Your choices and rights

  • You can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Server owners can delete their organization's data themselves from the Server Hub (Subscription page, Danger zone): this removes the Nitrado connection, servers, installations, Discord connections, settings, and killfeed and stats history for servers no other organization uses. Billing and invoice records we must keep for accounting are kept. A paid subscription has to be cancelled first.
  • Players can ask us through support to unlink a gamertag and delete their player data.
  • You can revoke Champion's access to your Discord account at any time in Discord's Authorized Apps settings.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

To make a request, contact us through the support Discord or the contact page. We may need to confirm the request comes from the account it is about.

Children

Champion is not meant for anyone below the minimum age to use Discord in their country, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page, and give notice on the website for significant changes.
